Migrated to GitHub

The Beezer source code has now been migrated to git including full revision history from Mercurial. The source code is now available in Beezer’s GitHub repository.

The reason for moving to git is that BitBucket, where the project was previously hosted, have decided to shutdown support for all Mercurial repositories hosted on it.^[1] So it’s just a matter of time until they purge all Mercurial repositories.

While I prefer Mercurial to git for small projects with few contributors, this seemed like a good opportunity to bite the bullet, move to git and call it a day.

The transition was not totally painless but doable with a bit of digging around and reading up on some of git’s requirements.
